Thick as Thieves are a Montreal based classic rock band that plays regularly around the Montreal area. Having been around the Montreal music scene for the past ten years, Thick as Thieves have gone through a few member changes until settling on the current line up of Andy Blincoe on lead vocals, Kenny Mckay on guitar, Mark Higden on drums and back-up vocals, Lyle Robinson on guitar, and the husband and wife team of Ronald Crone on Bass and back-up vocals and Rhonda Blincoe on lead vocals. Andy Blincoe has been the front man for Thick as Thieves since the beginning and has been credited with naming the band. Lead and backing vocals, along with acoustic guitar, the occasional percussion and various accusatory finger-pointings is his realm. Influenced by the early poets; namely Dylan, Springsteen, and Van Morrison, Andy brings these influences to the band. Since starting out in Charter Oak at the age of 13, through numerous bands that played the local scene like Skeeter and Hyannis, classic rock has been his music of choice, hence the long tenure in Thick as Thieves.
Ken Mckay is one of two guitarists in Thick as Thieves. Since the early 60's and the British Invasion, I've thought playing guitar in a rock band was the coolest gig anyone could have. I have tried to do just that all these years. I've had many influences, too many to mention. Suffice to say that I respect and enjoy listening to all the great guitarists of the past, and present no matter what type of music. Right now I'm playing with the finest group of musicians and friends I've ever had the pleasure to be with. We're Thick as Thieves!
As the newest member of Thick as Thieves, and possibly the world's oldest teenager next to Dick Clark, Lyle Robinson has been in the band for the past two years bringing a hard-rock/metal edge to the Thieves. Having played guitar for the past thirty years, Lyle dips into a bag of influences ranging from Frank Marino, John Sykes, and Eddie Van Halen, to jazz masters like Joe Pass, Al Dimeola and Miles Davis.
Formerly of Running with Scissors, Mark Higden joined Thick as Thieves in 2002 as drummer and back-up vocalist. With musical influences ranging from early Genesis and studio drummer Steve Gadd to Pearl Jam and Crawford, Mark has been a mainstay on the local music scene for the past 25 years and is best described as the handsome one in the band.

Ron Crone has been with Thick As Thieves from its inception. Originally the sound technician, Ron was asked to become the bassist after the original bassist accepted a job offer that required him to abandon the group. Ron still doubles as our sound technician and works his magic simultaneously while keeping the back beat and foundation of our group.

Rhonda Blincoe was asked to join Thick As Thieves as background vocalist only when the band was first formed. From the moment she sang her first note, she was bit by the music bug and now shares the centre stage spotlight with her brother, Andy Blincoe. Ron and Rhonda (husband and wife duo) were part of other garage bands in the past but never got out of the garage. The thieves changed all that.
